The town of Cootamundra was where
Don Bradman was born in 1908 when his parents were running a farm at nearby Yeo Yeo. The building in which the birth took place is now a museum dedicated to the event. The State Library of South Australia is the custodian of the Bradman Collection, a portion of which is in the Bradman Collection Museum at the Adelaide Oval, while the State Library retains a presence with animated images in the lenticular wall in the Spence wing of the Library.
